Because the field of genetics is ever expanding, it can be difficult to keep up with all the latest developments. To help combat this, we at EGL create and freely distribute our clinical guides. Our growing library of content is one of many ways EGL is taking a proactive approach to improve the industry of genetic testing.
EGL has released four clinical guides to date, with more currently in production.
Our first guide, Genetic Testing for Neurologic Disorders: A Clinician's Guide, was released in November of 2015. Medical EmExome - A Strategy for Diagnosing Patients with Genetic Disorders was launched this January, followed by Genetic Testing for Cardiac Disorders: A Clinician's Guide in February, and A Clinician's Guide to Expanded Carrier Screening in March. We will be launching our autism and intellectual disability guide next week in conjunction with Autism Awareness Month.
Our clinical guides are meant to provide easily disseminated yet pertinent information to our professional and academic clients. As we expand our library of content, we will strive to ensure all of our content is up-to-date and relevant. Therefore, our guides will undergo edits and revisions over time. This is our way of letting you know we're committed to providing you with the most accurate information available in the field of genetic testing.
